AndrewJ -> [Logged] Unloaded guns considered 'underwater' (4/11/2021 1:03:09 PM)

Hello, Here's a situation (B1147.20) where freshly unloaded artillery pieces are considered 'underwater', and therefore cannot shoot. CH-53s have just dropped off some 155mm artillery pieces using the 'Unload' function. If you try to attack with those weapons they are unable to shoot because of a 'Guns cannot fire underwater' error message. The actual elevation of the guns in this example is 277m, and the target is at 385m, so everything should be well above sea level. If you move the guns, even the smallest amount, then they are immediately able to fire. Is it possible that the initial dropoff is happening on the surface of the geoid, rather than at the elevation of the actual terrain? Then when you move them the altitude is recalculated at the correct terrain surface, allowing them to shoot?
