Taifun -> Burma road and Iranian supplies (4/14/2021 2:37:27 PM)

What do you have to do to stop the flow of supplies reaching the Chinese and Russians?

Burma road: Do you have to take the 3 places Lashio in Burma and Wanting and Kunming in China? I guess that taking Lashio would be enough to stop the supplies from reaching the Chinese.

Iran. Will taking Tehran be enough to stop the supplies flowing to Stalin or do you need to take also Mashhad?

Same question for Arkhangestsk. Do you need to take the city or just cutting the railroad south of the place will be enough? (Here I think that you need to take the port).

Thanks in advance

Hi Taifun

1) Burma Road supplies only flow if Haiphong Port is in Axis hands, and all of Kunming, Rangoon, Mandalay and Lashio are in Allied hands. So taking one of those four will prevent them flowing.

2) With Iran, there is no script in this game for the USSR to receive supplies this way.

3) Taking Archangelsk or reducing the port strength below 5 will stop the convoy from flowing.

Many thanks for the info Bill. I forgot that the loss of Rangoon stops the Burma Road. For the Iran script I mixed it with War in Europe.

Okay, this answers my question from another thread! ;)
