As it is, I find the HQ reassignment process to be somewhat awkward. Whenever I'm moving units between HQs, I invariably have to exit out to check and double check that I'm picking the correct new HQ, and not, for example, the HQ with almost the same number that has a crap general and is assigned to a completely different Army Group which invariably hoses my command capacities. So anyway, a few thoughts on how this could be improved:
-I think the simplest solution would be to include an HQ's parent formation on the HQ reassignment list, ideally with an option to sort by parent HQ as well.
-alternatively, or in addition, HQs on the list could be highlighted or somehow tagged with their current icon color. I find that my HQ colors are far more recognizable than their name/number assignment, so I think this would be a nice feature if easily implemented.
-and lastly, there could be a graphical, on-map solution: having the map highlight or trace a line to a given HQ on mouseover. with the way the option dialogues work, however, this could be more awkward to implement.
