And is the generic imagery actually used somewhere? I will be happy to do them as well, but haven't seen any of them so far in-game.

Yes they are used for Axis generic units such as the Soviet formations that fought under the Germans. They only start appearing in 1942 and later. If you open StB and check the Schwerin Cossack Regiment in the south you will see what I mean.

Cheers!

OK, no problem, I will try to tackle them this weekend. I hadn't checked Soviet formations fighting for the Germans, only the 'Blau' division and Foreign SS units, which use the German imagery (which seems appropriate enough). It shouldn't be too hard to get them in as well, I presume, being Generic German imagery first and foremost. Though I could opt for Soviet satellite forces imagery as well. Are they only used for Soviet forces fighting for the Germans, or are there others as well that use the generic stuff?

Hmm I am not sure about that. I think they are not exclusively used for Soviet forces but are also used for some Italian formations that appear after Italy surrenders. Thanks for taking a look at it!

Version 1.3 is up! It is basically version 1.2, with the additions of the PZL 23B (RU), the KV-1 M1941 (late) and the generic Axis imagery. For the latter I went for a RONA/Cossack themed version, and am anxious to see whether it should stay as such, or whether one prefers a more generic German themed one or it should stay as-is. Have fun!

Thanks! It's the details that make it all the more fun. [:)]

I was a little reluctant to initially use this mod but having now taken the plunge and using it I would like to thank you for the hard work to put this mod out it really enhances the game experience with clearer imagery

Hagar -> RE: MOD: COREd War in the Eeast 2 official release (12/9/2021 5:57:14 AM)

Thank you for your kind words!

Hagar -> RE: MOD: COREd War in the Eeast 2 official release (1/3/2022 8:30:14 AM)

Version 1.4 is up! It contains the latest model and leader changes and additions up to the 1.02.13Beta (current development version). Those include all Bulgarian-SOV, Romanian-Sov, British-Sov and Yugoslavian-Sov leaders, with the exception of the Croatian additions for GER. I will ensure to have those included as well in the upcoming version. Enjoy!

I may have an issue for you Hagar , I have the same image for Hans Hube as Erhard Raus , the image of Raus is correct .
I'm not sure if it is the game calling up the image or that you have a duplicate image as the bitmaps are numbered with no names.
I'm using latest ver but previous was the same

UPDATE I've looked through and image 85 and 148 are the same , both Raus.
in the original files 148 is Raus and 85 is a side on pic of Hube I believe.

Thanks once again for creating the image files to enhance this game

Good catch! That one must have been off for ages... Consider Hube replaced for the next version.

Thanks
