Very interested in this game but only vs AI. Is there any good level of bonuses/editing/mods/house rules that can give you a fair game vs AI? Primarily Axis vs AI, most games struggle with Axis AI.

I have not played it for a while...but when I gave it full bonuses...me Allies it Axis it did some crazy things...but did not do all that well in Russia.

Same with the Russian AI...


But it has been a while and I believe it has received updates so maybe another knows.

Give the AI a supply bonus and it will be more vigorous, especially on offense.

I require myself to maintain a continuous line of zones of control, to avoid gamey exploitation of the occasional AI flaw on defense in Russia. That doesn't preclude breakthroughs and encirclements.

I also don't allow myself to do ahistorical, gamey things, like concentrating my entire air force in one area.
