Just started playing this game this week. A lot more complex than other games I have played but I love it. I just shot down a Zero over Changsha with an I-15. Highlight of my night. I will write an AAR of my first in game month soon, right now it is December 28th.

Most players find the Ha-83 (or whatever the P-40B Chinese variant is called) to be a more effective fighter than the I-15. The 50 caliber MGs make a difference, and the range is better too. The I-15's only advantage is that it can carry some small bombs for ground attack missions.

The game has layers upon layers, while it isn't for everyone that's why people stay with it or keep coming back to it. Small victories are what you're looking for early and of course they're always fun to watch.

It will take awhile but an I-15 with and elite defensive pilot (65 plus) using staggered Cap with the P-40E 3 to 5 thousand higher is a deadly set up. I would caution, everything is a numbers game but these planes are okay with a good pilot and decent set up, they can be used.

Check the Maneuver bands, the 50 on the I-15 is elite although the rest of the plane struggles, even the I-16 isn't bad and it has Armor.
