Chubb -> Stalingrad to Berlin scenario - VVS setup (5/4/2021 7:33:27 AM)

V1:00:07
Stalingrad to Berlin - Soviet 202 IAD unit has bombers only - Pe2 as starts the scenario, should be a fighter division

Also really weird behavior (unit status) for 86 GIAP. On the unit display popup screen accessed from the map it has in my game 34 ready pilots, but nothing listed in their name list. The unit (86 GIAP) is NOT listed in the commanders' report.

21 Oct 1942 202 IAD was reformed to 202 BAD. So it should be a bomber formation.

212 IAD is set to rename on turn 0, if that does not work it's a scenario error

Chubb -> RE: Stalingrad to Berlin scenario - 86 GIAP ghost regiment (5/15/2021 9:56:31 PM)

Thanks for that info on the 202 IAD

Really confused by this bug - coding data error for the StB scenario.

8 GIAP is a movable unit - I've attached it to the Moscow area PVO as it was a pain having it in the front line.
When I look at the air units on map it's there, but not on the commander' report.
It has 30 something pilots, but no listed names or other data for the whole regiment

Now upgraded to V1.00.11 beta. I am restarting the StoB campaign as learned such a lot even though I couldn't get the railway working through Stalingrad due to repeated Ghost Brandenburger air-transported corps detachments (any native German writers care to take a stab at that as a compounded noun?) landing on the nexus of the rail net SW out of Stalingrad.

Still see the ghost unit of 86 GIAP starting with 6AA, but not listed in CR. That doesn't affect the game play.

Also what's with the BAD listed in CR for Air units (not AOG)? See the first line of the CR below:

BTW a huge amount of appreciation to all involved. Love the changes from WITE 1. Feels much more logistically restrained and have to think about that as you determine strategic planning for axis of advance and air cover range and basing. Much better and closer to real thinking on strategy and operational level. [&o]

I just checked and the 202 IAD does change its' name to the 202 BAD . The Turn of the Change was set to zero and it will show as 202 BAD on Soviet Turn 2.
