AGS Turn 54 1st Pz strikes into The Caucasus and traps a number of enemy units. 6th, 17th and both Romanian army's continue to push the Russians back. The drive along The Black Sea continues. AGN Turn 55 18th Armee has reach the Finnish frontier, Tikhvin should be captured in the next turn or two. Change of plan with my 2 reserve Korps, I am sending one to Moscow it will be assigned to 4th Pz. As well as continuing to push the Russians back to the Rybinsk Reservoir I did a lot of reorganising, I have Divs all over the place on the map. AGC Turn 55 The Moscow perimeter widens. Here also I had Armee's , Korps and Divs all over the place so again while pushing forward I began to really get the Armee's in order. AGS Turn 55 Here to redeployment and reorganisation of my forces. 1st Pz destroys the pocket in the process. I captured Maikop but during the AI turn it was recaptured, which didn't matter as it was not enough for the sudden death check. AGC Turn 57 The attack on Moscow is delayed as I had to remove the threat in my rear, this lead to a opportunity I could not resist. I pushed a Pz Reg through to Yaroslavi which is good but now I have move troops away from Moscow to keep Yaroslavi stretching my already thin lines thinner. AGS Turn 57 The Russians seem to have surrendered the Black Sea coast road as the Italian Army marches towards Batumi unopposed. AGC Turn 58 While the attack on the city commences the rest of the AG centre pushes outwards and North to secure Yaroslavi. Small pockets are formed, the Red Army launches some belated counterattacks which are easily contained. AGS Turn 58 While the action up North centres on Moscow down South I am strengthening my lines in front of Stalingrad and clearing enemy units. AGN Turn 59 Trapped a couple of small pockets and have reached the reservoir more or less. What Russian forces that are left here are in no position to do much, I seem to be able drive them back now quite easily as they just don't have the numbers.
