ScottyG -> Infantry not able to load??? (5/7/2021 5:41:14 PM)

Every time i go to load troops up the infantry troops never show? Base forces, artillery, engineers, aa, etc do show but not infantry??? Why doesnt infantry units show up, i have them all in strategic move as well

Nomad -> RE: Infantry not able to load??? (5/7/2021 5:55:11 PM)

Are they assigned to a restricted HQ? That will keep them from showing up.

RangerJoe -> RE: Infantry not able to load??? (5/7/2021 6:00:54 PM)

Somebody had the same problem recently as well.

ScottyG -> RE: Infantry not able to load??? (5/7/2021 6:34:09 PM)

Is it because i dont have enuff political points? But if it were that then i would have to have an enourmas amounts of political points to unlock aver infantry unit across the map

Post pictures of your intelligence screen and the unit screen in question.

You have to save political points to buy out units. But be careful, as you don't want to buy out units that will withdraw soon....GP

I kinda was thinking that but that would take enourmous amounts of politic points. But if there isn't any other way then i guess i need to start stocking up

I'd add you also want to turn off reinforcements to all units and turn them on as you want to fill specific units out, especially if you need to buy them out or they are withdrawing.

BUT ... buying out a fully filled-out unit is more expensive in PP, so often players keep the unit they intend to buy at at "No Replacements and No Upgrades" until they have bought it out. Stockpiling the needed devices will help ensure it can fill out after you buy it out.

Thank you for clarifying my poorly constructed post. After rereading I can see where someone could be confused and add replacements before purchase.

RangerJoe -> RE: Infantry not able to load??? (5/8/2021 12:57:47 AM)

There are ways to pay fewer PPs to buy a division out as well but I will not get into them here.

That said, also buy them out before the disabled devices get repaired and the unit will be cheaper than when fully functional.

Do not expect to be able to free up every unit as soon as the game starts nor when it enters the game. There are reasons for that which are beyond the scope of your command decisions.

Units in strategic mode will only load upon transport TF's, none other.

This is not true. They will load onto a Cargo TF, but you can not have any xAP, AP, or APA ships in a Cargo TF.

ScottyG -> RE: Infantry not able to load??? (5/8/2021 6:20:57 PM)

But now a differant question, how can i gain political points? Capturing enemy bases, sinking enemy ships, etc???

LargeSlowTarget -> RE: Infantry not able to load??? (5/8/2021 6:33:50 PM)

You gain a fixed number of PPs every turn, in stock scenarios 50 per day. You can gain additional PPs by withdrawing air groups earlier than their set withdrawal dates.

.

They come at a schedule set by the scenario designer.
