MButtsworth -> [WAD] Odd behaviour in AI air assist (5/10/2021 1:52:58 PM)

If I manually set missions and allocate planes to my air armies at West front, Reserve front, Briansk front etc the ai does some odd things.
First it cancels any ground attack interdiction missions I set, as well as cancelling ground support for Reserve front and Briansk front forcing me to set all air missions - ground support, ground attack (interdiction), and recon after I press the air assist button.
Also if I right click on the air army hq and rotate planes into the reserve front and briansk front air assist will take all planes out of the two air armies meaning I cannot use ai assist at all after I put planes in the air hqs.
Is this normal, as I understood people press ai air assist after doing their air turn before the air combat button pressed at the end of the turn, which I cannot do?
Or is this part of the odd behaviour of my game installatoin noted in another post to tech support.

Noted in my PBEM game of C41 august 1941. When I press the AI air assist button the reserve front air command disappears from screen and is no longer accessible in the air planning phase of the game to give commands or rotate planes into and out of the command.

I checked your save and the Reserve Air Command is set to Asset Priority 0, so the fact that it goes away when you press the AI air assist is WAD. I increased it to 2 and it stayed on the map. The Bryansk Front is not yet on the ma (delay 1) in the save you sent so I don't know if it was the same issue with that Air command.
