ZeppoSpecs -> Sub/Destroyer changes in new patch (5/10/2021 10:31:39 PM)

Sorry for the newbie question, but can someone spell out how submarine combat is different with the changes in the new patch?

Subs will survive better now...

The old and rather weird way to most efficiently deal with subs can be found in post 1 point 3 of this thread

This worked because subs had def 0 vs all surface ships. In the patch the def was raised to 1, so no more cost free softening up of subs with battleships.

I'm so happy about this sub fix advocated by Tanaka, even though I mostly play Entente in MP's lol

Here's something I want to reveal. I never as Entente put ASW on capital ships, as I thought it was gamey with the older versions. I never told my opponents this...but its all true. However, I would occasionally ram the annoying little fellas, but, haha, this could be a dangerous exercise against yoked out U-boats..but it satisfied my inner feeling about fair play and historical accuracy [:D]
