Can Calcutta be blockaded at all?
In my current game, I have several British corps and divisions surrounded near Calcutta. Rest of India has fallen.
I've put 4 TFs in all adjacent sea hexes...but still don't get message that supplies are interdicted and I see that British units replenish after each attack without any problem (which is strange since I don't know from where supplies can be coming in first place, whole India, Ceylon and Diego Garcia are already conquered by Japanese).

Calcutta is a main supply source so no it can't be cut off.

Any resource with a small colored supply symbol or any urban area with a 10+ production is a main supply source.

What about New Zealand? Can this be blockaded?

Look at the capital. If it is 10+ production or has a supply symbol on it then it can't be blockaded.

What does the suplly symbol look like?

Wellington is a main supply source. Auckland is a level 5 or greater port indicated by the orange circle.

You have also this little white supply symbol on the map without pressing the S key.
In the Wellington hex...
