When I select Russian hex shade off, why does it come back on again when I'm moving my units around?

Thanks..

I guess it's because you have activated "e" togggle ennemy hexes on/off.

It's not really a problem, I just want to look at what towns/cities the Russian are holding, and that sort of thing, the shaded part tends to obscure it a bit which is understandable from a FOW point of view. But as German CiC I would expect to have a decent large map of Russia on my desk. I'll check my mouse as the keyboard commands seem to work better. Thanks.

When you are moving, if you have Show Allowed Movement checked on in the preferences, it will show you the hexes you can move to, including differentiating hexes that are enemy controlled (they cost a lot more MPs to move into. You can uncheck that preference if you don't want it on.

I have the same problem Joel. I turn off show allowed movement and still I see the red overlay even when E is turn off .

Are you sure? When I have show allowed movement turned off, and I have the show enemy hexes turned off, I don't see any hexes in red. You also have to turn off show rails, which colors enemy hexes in red.
