PaulAllen1982 -> How to see full strength of troops in a hex? (5/21/2021 7:34:15 PM)

Is there a quick way to see the total strength of all troops in a hex without having to click on it multiple times and add up all of the values on each unit card?

It would be good to be able to see total hex strength at a glance and I'm sure there must be a quicker way to do it that I'm missing.

I think I've spotted something actually, if you use history mode, the number on each unit card seems to show the total stack points or combat power in the hex, which helps to give an "at a glance" summary of the sort of troop numbers in that area without having to click each hex individually.

Can be helpful if trying to scan the map for strong and weak points.

Sure you can, Hex Info Section on the bottom right : number under "Stack".

It seems to be the same than in history view, and seems to take Readiness into account ?

(Also, you would not even need to click multiple times to be able to add up the individual subunit counts, you can just use the Unit tab and see all the units stacked there on the bottom left.
Alternatively also the Smaller counters map setting and see them over multiple hexes at the same time.)

That's a good point, I'd managed to forget that you can just see the units in the selected hex at the bottom corner.

I should be ok to use that option when looking at an individual hex and use the history tab if I want to visually scan an area and quickly identify areas with high/low troop concentrations with less clicking.
