This may have been asked before, but I can't remember and/or find it: What exactly are the HQ functions boxed in yellow in the picture below, for, and why would one want to use them? What advantages would they provide if any?

I can't seem to find anything regarding this in the manual either.

I have never used any of them...just a quick way to turn on reinforce all or do not reinforce all...

The air support is something I would never use as it would likely bomb units that I have no desire to attack.

I guess it is the same instruction as applied to a single unit, but applied to all in range of the HQ. Not a feature that I would ever want to use though.

If Alvaro ever did a pointless poll to ask what function is the most pointless, I would probably vote for this one.

Yeah, I am only using the HQ button to stop any repair on Red units the first turn in USSR to avoid lots of mouse clicks...

I just pressed this button in WPP, and all of my trucks disappeared. I thought it was a buy one get 5 free deal...
