I'm having a recurring problem in the 1943-45 Campaign while attempting to change the HHQ of an airbase. When I open the Air Base Detail window and click on the HHQ link, one of the air HQs is sometimes missing in the Pick New HQ window (apart from the current HHQ for the air base). This has usually occurred at Mediterranean air bases, with the 15th AF missing from the list. I've also had the XII Troop Carrier Command missing. This same HQ is missing from the new HQ window for other bases I check, except for certain bases that are close to the HQ itself---perhaps on the same landmass.
After a rather long time during which I am searching through various reports and looking at units, the missing air HQ suddenly starts showing up as an option in the Pick New HQ window. Perhaps there is a sub-process crawling along in the background that finally completes, or maybe I happen to click in some menu that unlocks the missing HQ. In searching the forum, I have so far not come across previous reports of this issue. Has anyone else seen this behavior and come up with a way to quickly get the missing HQ to reappear?
