Zap -> Amazon (5/30/2021 3:12:08 AM)

Did you know this was happening? Your neighbors (those who don't have an internet connection will be able to share your internet service (to purchase things from Amazon) when you are not online. By default, Amazon devices including Alexa, Echo, Ring, security cams, outdoor lights, motion sensors, and Tile trackers will enroll in the system. And since only a tiny fraction of people take the time to change default settings, that means millions of people will be co-opted into the program whether they know anything about it or not. The Amazon webpage says Sidewalk "is currently only available in the US." You will automatically be added to this experiment unless less you opt out. You won't know its happening. You must go into default settings to opt out. By June 8th.
