Hagar -> [duplicate bug, fix in progress] Strange battle outcome (6/2/2021 11:29:13 AM)

I got some strange battle results when capturing North Leningrad in the grand campaign:
It is October 1941, so capturing 60 IS-2 1944 tanks was a surprise. Also included in the mix were some SU-76 and ISU-122 tanks (and T-34 1942 models, but that is plausible albeit a bit early).

And another issue when capturing Leningrad itself.

thats unlikely but not impossible

that value is new disabled - disabled who return to their units. For the Axis from about mid-42 till late 1943 its always negative as the winter 1941 return to their units.

to the first, some saves would help to see where they entered the production system (I've never seen that before).

Just to check, its not a modded game?

Saves are attached, and apart from graphics, this isn't a modded game. I did notice as well the game listed dozens of destroyed divisions and brigades afterwards, like ski brigades and heavy tank regiments... It seems like it is taking into account any future units that might spawn from there.

As to the negative numbers, I didn't check prior to the battle, but it seemed a bit off being the first battle of that round.

Here is the kill list I mentioned earlier... It is the height of the muddy season, so this seems a bit wild. [:)]

Thanks for the report.

This bug was previously reported and we already have a fix in for it that we hope to get out in a .14 update (.13 is currently being used by our testers). IIRC the game (maybe just AI) was getting confused and treating some units in the database but not currently in the scenario as being in the hex and susceptible to retreat attrition. IIRC, they didn't fight, but would get counted in the losses. This previously happened in Leningrad, so it may be limited to just City Fort battles or just the Leningrad city forts.

Hopefully this bug is rare, but it should be fixed in a .14 update.
