Is this game playable at 1440p ?

That is, can the UI information screens for units etc be read reasonably well at this resolution ?

Thanks

Hi 39battalion,

Yes it should be fine.

For example, if you are not running any windows scaling at that resolution, e.g. the Windows scale and layout setting is set to 100% this likely means your monitor is large enough to handle that resolution and the fonts and texts should look large enough to read.

On the other hand if you are running scaling, let's say at 150%, and this sometimes happens as some monitors/screens are not actually big enough to run a 1440p resolution, Windows will automatically set scaling for you to an alternative recommended setting to compensate.

While your PC will say it is still running at 1440p or 2560x1440 pixels, since it is at 150% scaling, it will actually be running at 1280x720 pixels, and again then the game should look fine as well.

If you can tell me what your Windows scaling and layout setting is set to I can then tell you more or less for sure how things will appear on your end.

This link here shows you how to access that info on your PC:

Hope this helps,
Hubert

Many thanks Hubert !

The link you provided has a wealth of useful information.

I have a 27" screen. Windows has automatically set the scaling at 125%.

I ran the game and it looks fine. So some happy gaming ahead
