The 1125 beta was released with post #1265 in this thread: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3185062&mpage=43&key= It has subsequently been removed and replaced in the opening post by the later betas. Perhaps someone retained a copy.

I am pretty sure the "public beta" is not a full game, just a patch that updates the base game. You will need to buy the base game from the Matrix website before you can use the public beta anyway. But once you buy the base game you can download and install the last official patch .1126a from the Matrix site, which is the same as the public beta .1126b which is available at the top of this forum. IOW - the .1125 beta is outdated compared to the .1126a or b, and all the patches require the base game to play. The only exception to this might be a "Demo version" of the game, much reduced in playability, designed to give potential customers a taste of it. I haven't heard this discussed in many years so I doubt there is one.

It might be more pertinent to note that after installation of the update to date exe patch (which is the same as beta 1126a), and then installation of the 1126b, old saves will be converted to work with the new exe.
