Charles2222 -> Mousectl - Any Clues? (8/31/2003 1:09:31 AM)

Do any of you have any advice for this particular problem I'm having?

I'm running mousestl to try to fix a slow mouse for a DOS program and no matter what values I give it, it doesn't make the slightest difference in the world. Is there anything you can think of that may be causing it to be ignored? I'm currently running this thing through vdmsound, though soundwise it was doing fine without it. Before, when I ran it straight through autoexec.nt it did the same thing of course.

It's not that big a deal, since CL will replace me wanting to run this program (SPWW2), but I am more concerned about trying to run anything else DOS on this XP-HE if the mouse will always be shot. Nevermind that I haven't even tried running a CPU killer yet. Is there any way that running a killer would straighten the mouse out, or at least make it responsive to mousectl?

Any ideas are appreciated, as I'm completely out of any, apart from the probably doomed idea of running a CPU killer and hoping somehow the mouse gets the magic wand treatment from that. Thanks.
