scott1393 -> ignoring my aerial tanker (6/17/2021 8:32:55 PM) ok for 2 days i have been trying to get my 2 f16s to proceed to the tanker flying the (west FL tanker) track in front of them that tanker is a kc130T Hercule. the fighters ignore the order like i didnt if tell them, then if i chose "select provider auto" they turn south towards for JFK's tanker support. ive tried changing the doctrine to "pick tankers btwn us and station" no effect. so the 130 has a centerline droguel and the f16s say they have boom refueling but im leary of that being the reason. i had f4s ignore it yesterday. thanks for listening. scott

tylerblakebrandon -> RE: ignoring my aerial tanker (6/18/2021 12:23:04 AM) The F-16's require a Boom refueler like a KC-135, KC-10, or KC-46. The KC-130 has drogues which are for a probe and drogue system. Many boom tanker also carry drogue pods or can modify the boom to serve a probe and the DB properties will indicate those that can service probe refuelers. A few aircraft like British E-3s can refuel from both a boom and a drogue and that is also reflected in the DB. Always make sure your tankers and shooters are compatible.
