Why do I get black screens and (not responding) messages during the Air phase executions?

I am running on a 4.7ghz 8 core AMD CPU with 32gbs Ram and a 6gb graphics card.
I can provide a DX Diag if necessary.

Just a guess, but maybe a corrupted game file or resolution issue....GP

The AI is processing but Windoze believes it hangs. You'd see the same in WitE1 and WitW
