Game Crashes (Full Version)

Game was working fine for me under 1.01.00

Now it keeps crashing with 1.01.01

Also I can't get the music to stop. Yesterday I had sound effects without the music. Perfect.

Today I have to have either music and sound effects or nothing at all.

HI Michael,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Can you tell me which scenario is causing this crash or any other details of how far you get onto a scenario before it crashes?

With regards to the music, our two recent patches have not touched any sounds and updating with a patch should not be changing your settings. When talking about Music are you referring to the menu music which can be turned off in the Main menu options section.

I started Battle of Douvres Radar Station as British V the AI. Began under 1.01.00. Got to the end of the British turn 3. Then saved and shut down for the night. Next day updated to 1.01.01 and resumed. As soon as the German AI fires its first shot (German Turn 3) the game just crashes and shuts down.

I have been able to begin new games under 1.01.01 and play out to completion. Different scenario though. The sound issue seems to only exist in that particular scenario that crashed. The music is playing all the time if sound is turned on.

Hi Michael, If you still have it could you send me the saved game for Dourves that is crashing?

You can find it under C:\Users\XXX\valorandvictory\save where XXX is your username.

Sorry I started a new game and it seems to have over written the old save I had. As an aside there is a problem with this scenario though I have since discovered. It has some LOS issues. I will email some screenies to you.
