hpalmer -> [confirmed 1.01.00 bug/has workaround] beta 1.1 leader dismissal error (6/30/2021 10:14:13 PM) Turn 1 I am trying to replace generals and what happens is I dismiss a corps commander and select model and it doesn't change the general, it just costs 1 AP and keeps the same general in command. I had 19 free AP and tried twice and am now down to 17 AP and only needed 9 AP to make the change. Did not see this on the "main" branch, so not sure if this is something isolated to the beta...

Joel Billings -> RE: beta 1.1 error (7/1/2021 12:33:19 AM) Thanks for trying the beta and for the quick report. Are you clicking on the leader's picture in the right bar and then dismissing him? I was able to confirm that going that route is buggy (you get charged a small number of points but don't get the leader changed). If you instead go to the HQ's unit detail screen and then click on the name of the leader and do a dismissal, it seems to work correctly. So for now, go through the unit detail screen until we get this fixed. Thanks.
