When I ordered this game I was under the impression we could arm our planes. To me this is the most crucial part of carrier war. Im sorely disappointed that the carrier war is so automated. It seems you send the tf up to the area and planes launch by themselves.

When I try to select a TF as a target it says I cant.

It is an operational level (for the most part) game and not a tactical one. The local commanders on the scene determine the loadout.

Between the time you issue orders and the time those orders are executed a TF may have moved and/or not even be visible. So once again the decision as to which TFs are to be attacked lies with the local commander.

It is not carriers at war. Sorry if you believed it to be so. But it is a great game nevertheless. Once you get your mind set to the scale of the game you will enjoy it immensly. :)
