New to playing the Soviets and wondering how best to deploy my divisions in defense.
Is it better to stack them up to the 200 limit as much as you can to make each hex harder to take, or is it better to deploy them in thinner lines so that the German invaders have to attack multiple times?
My first game as Soviets failed miserably as I tried to sit back in defensive posture behind rivers, I'm guessing I need to be a bit more aggressive and try to cut off German supply lines where I can and pick off isolated units, rather than setting up strongpoints and waiting to be attacked.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
