You got no discovered technology, so there is nothing to select.

What else do you need to know?

At first I thought I was stuck and prevented from going to next turn since I could not resolve this decision, but that was not the case. No decision were presented - I though that would be obvious, but apparently not.

Sounds like there is no issue. It is a empty decision, but one where you have to pick nothing.
