IS an AI v AI game still possible?

I really really want to do this, and let the war unfold while I watch, how come it doesnt seem to be possible anymore?

When I set both sides to computer controlled, the game just boots into a human-controlled axis side.

Was this taken out of the latest version or something?

I found that you do have to manually advance the first air phase for the side moving first, after that it was fully AI controlled for both sides.

I do the setting in the Game Option as follows:
a) Check the Automate AI Air Assist;
b) Uncheck the Enhanced TB Player Control.

In the User Preferences, I usually check the Auto Save Game and uncheck the Auto Show Turn Summary.

After the entry, save the 1st turn, press 0 to set message level 0 and then click F12.

It is a fun to see the moves.
