Why do the two unit boxes result empty in this report? Is it a bug?

Looks like a bug. Do you have a pre-save that repeats it?

Moebius40 -> RE: Empty boxes (8/12/2021 9:30:54 AM)

The bug is present in this savegame: 191,107 SW of Leningrad.

It looks like you were using v1.01.02 and you launched an attack on a hex that came up with the bad info. Is that right? Do you have a save before the attack, or can you go back to the start of the turn and see if you can make it happen again and provide a save? Based on the 20k in the window for Axis defenders, I assume a German division came in from reserve to counter the Soviet attack. Interesting thing is it shows 5 Axis AI hasty attacks that were all ill-conceived, and this probably won't happen in 1.01.03 as there was a fix put in to reduce the chance the AI will do these pointless 1 regiment hasty attacks.

If you can get us a pre-save, that would help us diagnose what went wrong. Thanks.

Here's the game saved just before the attack.
However, repeating the attack does not seem to reproduce the problem.

Just guessing, I'm thinking that the array of combat reports got so full that something went wrong when you tried to attack. Loading a save may have freed up memory in the array and made room so we can't repeat the glitch. The attack was probably valid so unless we can determine otherwise, this is probably a display only bug re units in the attack and the other missing info. It will likely remain until we find a way to repeat it. The AI no longer launches so many bad attacks so if my guess is right, there's less chance of an issue using future versions.
