lecrop -> Unclipped counters mod (8/13/2021 8:52:24 AM)

I want to share this simple mod that I have made for my personal use, in case anyone might find it useful.

It's a basic touch-up of the counters so that they are not rounded or have shadows that blur the units. I have avoided making any changes other than the retouching of the counters and their NATO symbols. The colors and headquarters are identical to the vanilla game.

As you can guess, I am a boardgamer who hates counter-clipping [:'(]

To install, simply download here and save it in the appropiate campaign directory.

Great stuff!
Reminds me of the flat counter mod I'm using in TOAWIV.
Thanks.

Nicely done. I like both looks.

I'm still impressed with how sharp the art on the counters looks. I've messed around with making units too, but I can't get them to look that good. Is it 300 dpi in Photoshop or something?

Thank you

I don't use Photoshop, I use Paint.net, but any drawing software can work with the only requirement that it allows you to draw manually pixel by pixel, thus avoiding visual artifacts that blur the drawing, such as filters.

Ah! and never work in jpg format because is a lossy compression format. Always work in a lossless format like png or gif.
