My tank has lower damage and worse engine than the AI while having the same engine but they upgunned me with 60mm while i have 25mm

Thanks. I would like to see your tanks structural design.
I always go with biggest booms, armor and engine on light tanks. If you have problems fighting similar units, try to find AT guns or medium tanks and equip a designated model with HV guns.
Modeling is described in 5.12.3.3 manual.

yea right where the weight in all that thing ? Anyway i have destroyed that tank with medium tank with 88mm gun high velocity like you said but how they did manage with the same engine with way higher weight baffle me.

Maybe your opponent has armor optimisation researched, making his units lighter. You can look that up in the regimes tab if you have enough recon on them or are allied.

The raw values from Engine, Armor and Gun are multiplied by the Engine, Armor and Weapons Design Rolls.
The design rolls are based on Structural and Base design, with a hefty dose of luck.

Armor optimization increases the HP values, it doesn't modify the weight values. Also probably the OP rolled very poor engine rolls, making his engines significantly weaker
