I love the hard cover manual BUT I would pay tall money for an accompanying large paper map (with hexes) much like the old SPI War in the East board game. Somebody over at Matrix is welcome to take credit for this idea and put it in the suggestion box. [;)]

Someone actually created an empty planning map about 9.2 megs in size. If you were to download that and put it onto a storage device or emailed it to a company that could print it out, that would probably be a solution.

NOW, if someone can make the counters for the map that would be even better. My cut out pieces look like crap ;-P

I did that with WITE1. It's about 4' x 5' and I have it posted on a wall. Cost about $250.00 USD. I don't plan on doing it for this one though.

As a photographer and printer ... one easy solutions is breaking up the map into smaller 9 13 or even smaller sections and taping them up as one latge map.. most home pc printers can do this

For this, there are special programs that themselves divide a large poster into several sheets and even print a gluing line, like on real headquarters maps!
