Kursk1943 -> Correction for SP German Panzerjaeger units (8/23/2021 2:29:10 PM) Don't know if this is the right place to post it: When assiging support units to a corps HQ I noticed that all German selfpropelled Panzerjaeger units are listed as "SP Artillery". This is not correct. All Panzerjaeger units belonged to the Panzerjaegertruppe. Only the Sturmgeschütz units where counted as SP Artillery (but only after a prolonged struggle with Gen Guderian, who in his function as Inspekteur der Panzertruppe wanted them to belong to the Panzertruppe). Perhaps these units can be shifted to the section "Anti-Tank" in a future update.

Lurberri -> RE: Correction for SP German Panzerjaeger units (8/25/2021 7:27:45 PM) To some extent I can understand that the Sturmgeschuetz III units (at least in their early versions) were included among the "Self-propelled Artillery" ... but the Panzerjaeger units are clearly (and almost exclusively) "Anti-tank units". It seems obvious.

In the past, self-propelled artillery has included direct-fire vehicles, such as assault guns and anti-tank guns (tank destroyers). These have been armoured vehicles, the former providing close fire-support for infantry and the latter acting as specialized anti-tank vehicles. However, for the game, I think we should avoid continuation of misclassifying anti-tank as self-propelled artillery.
