I wasn't too sure if this was a bug or WAD. But I just recently got my turn and had a leader killed on a front HQ that saw no action this turn.

here are some pictures of the front with the battle's on and which leader got killed.

This is a server game so I can't give any saves if this turn's out to be a bug.

I'd say its as designed, there is a small chance of this happening - car crash, plane crash, over-indulgence of vodka, that sort of random stuff

well it said killed in action like combat took place that's what got me
