Playing opening moves ( first scenario of northern inferno). Could see them a minute ago, and suddenly, no more. only when i click on a buoy. Have not changed anything. They just vanished.

Tried turning all range cycles of and on again, tried to reload, no chance.

ideas anyone?

Check the Map Settings
'Check range symbols for ..' that you have not picked 'Selected unit'. You would probably need to set it to 'All' if you want to see them without picking it.

Perhaps you have merge range symbols turned on, and something with a very large sonar range is also in the area? (A SOSUS sensor, ships with a long-ranged towed array, etc.) That can make the short-ranged sonobuoy circles not display.
