Eric Breuer -> Unit Scale (9/27/2021 6:59:50 PM)

Does the unit scale follow World at War?

What is the appropiate unit scale per 10 strength points for:
Corp= 50,000
Army= 100,000
Capital Ship= 2
Calvary Corp= 50,000
Air Fleet= 1000
Sub= 10
Carrier= 2
Air Fleet Carrier= 1000

Roughly speaking yes, though the amount of planes and cavalry would most likely be significantly less than that.

Eric Breuer -> RE: Unit Scale (9/28/2021 2:43:54 PM)

So,
Airfleet maybe 500?
Calvary Corp maybe 500?

Taxman66 -> RE: Unit Scale (9/28/2021 4:35:09 PM)

Some of these numbers are fungable.

For example Number of planes per unit would/could/should be vastly different in 1940 vs. 1945.

Given the game philosophy and mechanics the scale of units is arbitrary anyway.

Eric Breuer -> RE: Unit Scale (9/28/2021 8:10:56 PM)

So maybe an airfleet in 1940 was fungable 250-400?

BillRunacre -> RE: Unit Scale (9/29/2021 8:29:12 AM)

Yes, that would be about right.

Eric Breuer -> RE: Unit Scale (9/30/2021 8:11:39 PM)

How about later, after 1941, 500 to 750?

BillRunacre -> RE: Unit Scale (10/4/2021 9:12:24 AM)

Yes, with the expansion of armed forces the comparable numbers would rise as the war progressed.
