This looks to be excellent operational-level treatment of the Battle of the Bulge.

What command and control mechanisms are in place?

Can units be out of conmmand and what effect does that have?

What are the principle sources for the OOB; particularly the the troop and vehicle numbers (e.g. 27 Stugs, 100 landser etc.)?

Would it be possible to see a worked example as to how a combat is calculated in detail, including losses.

Will there be a decent manual that gives detailed information as to how the game works (something many games now skimp on)?

Thanks in advance.

Check the other Decisive Campaigns games, which do not skimp on details or manuals.

Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris
Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue
Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa

Expect a fully fleshed out game, with plenty of details and a matching manual.

Its good to know that the previous games in the series had decent manuals.

I'm sure they were also very detailed but they are at the wrong scale for me.

I prefer the more tactical level that is evident in the Ardennes campaign and where command and control should have major importance - hence my question.
