...even though original disk is in the drive. Another XP user (pkpowers) reported that this problem was fixed by addition of "debug files." Does anyone have info about how to obtain this fix?

Hi This error may mean the CD is bad but to make sure try the CD in another PC if that is the option for you and be sure. David
