Rangers and Amphib HQs (Full Version)

I'm trying to relocate the Rangers to Amphib HQs after taking Sicily. I see a Ranger regiment that I assume was created after I invaded Sicily, but I don't see any rangers I can assign to Amphib HQ for invasion of mainland Italy.

Do I have top disband them or somehow reattach to a HQ?

Move the Rangers in a Port with an Amph HQ, attach them to it and convert them to an SU. Now you have them "on board" and ready to assist the next invasion of that HQ. Have fun!
