Latest beta patch, started a new game using the "kill soviet pilots in sky" strategy opening and not a single Axis aircraft even took off. Posted picture of an example of this happening, soviets take off just fine.

All planes haven't been moved, all set to Day Only missions, ground directives have been completely cleared however I didn't think that would make a difference in straight up interception unless I missed the changelog notes.

Don't you need to assign your JGs to a ground support AD for auto-interception?

It didn’t used to be like that, I would always clear the directives and they would always auto-intercept. Must’ve missed it in the patch notes I guess.

I just confirmed that something did change with 1.01.15, and I'm not sure if it was intended. It does appear that fighters will no longer intercept enemy ground support unless they are in a ground support directive. We will have to look into this and see why this changed. Thanks for the report.

Thank you for looking into this. Don't believe this change was documented in the patch notes and the community would not have known had you not looked into it.

Gary has fixed this in the update we just released to testers. It was caused by a recent change/fix.
