ORIGINAL: AlvaroSousa Very likely Jan 2022. I want to work out some game play in the main scenarios. Main reason - Steam players are not used to wargames thus are less forgiving of them. If the game gets bad reviews it will bomb in sales. So I want to be sure the game works well and is balanced. I am always playing my games so I can experience what is wrong and right with them so I can fix them. I put in a lot of hours while working on new games. Second reason - There are tons of sales going on at Steam and I would lose quite a bit of profit from sales due to it especially if I got bad reviews. Steam takes a large commission. Game development is a slow grind to making money with careful planning. There are fixes in the work and a new experimental scenario for the 1941 game in the next patch where fleet sizes are reduced from 20 to 6. Should generate more action with a better even level of play and decision making. Ok, thank you for your very reasonable and understandable update. I will install on standalone now as, come to think of it, I will most likely be able to transfer my save files over if required when it launches on Steam. All the best with it when the time comes, I am sure it will do just fine :)
