First of all, thanks Alvaro for all the updates. The game in many ways is simply getting better and better. Looking forward to WP2 and your fantasy game

Just finished a game against the AI with 0.041 at Experience and Excellent levels and for some reason the IJN CVs and Navy remained in port for almost the entire game. In fact, come to think of it, I think there was maybe 2 CV battles the whole game.(and not big battles) I didn't notice it until late in the game. So I started using COMMINT to locate them and it took a while but I finally found them in a location, port Aomori, that surprised me since it's only size 6. In fact, the whole IJN navy was just sitting in port. I don't think they moved the whole game.

The snap shot you see below has the following situation on map:
DEI and Borneo were still in Japanese hands
Singapore was still held by Japan.

I had captured Rabul, Palau, Yap, Guam, Saipan and Pagan. Furthermore in Vietnam I did capture, Saigon, Cam Ranh and Quang Ngai.

I'm just wondering, if any changes to the AI were made that would effect the IJN navy's aggressiveness? In earlier versions, it seems the IJN would keep coming at you even when the odds were against them.

Any chance you can send me the save game when this screen shot was done? I know why technically but this shouldn't be happening due to scripting.

The A.I. looks for the best port it can't be bombed in. But there are specified ports that change as the Allies advance.

I want to look at the data to see if there is something off in the script.

The A.I. reacts within a certain range of the Allies. It works well in the late game as all their scripted major ports can react to just about anything...... except this one.
