Hi,
I played a demo for a grand strategy game a few months ago. I long since deleted any evidence of it from my machine and for the life of me can't remember its name or publisher and can't find it again on the net. In a last ditch effort to find it I'm coming to you guys!
The game was a high-level strategy game *very* similar to Hearts of Iron except that it was turn based. The map was divided into zones similar to Hearts of Iron.
Some clues to help me find this thing:
- Technology advancements similar to Axis and Allies.
- Map divided into regions that supplied industry and resources.
- Each turn resources/industry could be spent on advancing technology or building new units
- The demo covered the early part of the war with the invasion of France.
It wasn't a very detailed or historically accurate game but it seemed like a fun beer and pretzels type of thing. Please help I'm at my wits end!
