Yes and no :) So basic rule is HQ takes a supply value and distributes a different (higher) value If HQ is on a Resource(5) then it will take that in and distribute 8 In some heavily industrialised regions such as Western Europe and USSR it can take in a higher value like 6 and distribute 10 ------------ There is also an HQ boosting rule, whereby a higher rated HQ can be boosted by an HQ that is in supply range and this applies mostly in those less industrialised regions like Egypt The HQ doing the boosting will have a yellow hex and the HQ being boosted will take in the distributed supply of the first HQ rather than its underlying hex value so.. a boosted HQ can move out into the desert where supply may only be 1/2/3 but instead receive a higher input from the other HQ, which means more supply for your troops Gotchas: watch out for HQs boosting ones you didn't intend. Try and push your higher rated HQ towards the front line and keep others away from the one you want to do the boosting --------------- -Supply will providet by HQs in Towns depending on supplylevel of that town or harbour ? Yes -It reduced by one every hex away from the hq ? Yes -HQs can boost HQs from highest supply or highest skill level ? Other way round -Do HQS provid supply to units not under thier commmand? And iff they do whats the rules of thump there? Yes but not air units
