Is there a difference between night and day pilot training?

If I train two fighter pilots groups to 70 air experience, with one group only training at night and the other only training at day will the skills be equal? Or is one of the factor that the is taken in consideration is the difference skill needed for night versus day?

IIRC training only at night takes longer than day training

Thank you geoff and Alfred.

Alfred just found you excellent answer in my search of the forum

There is no discrete subset of night flying skills. The differences which pertain to flying at night are covered in s.7.2.1.3 of the manual and they do not depend on nor utilise any skill set other than the listed skill sets which apply to both day and night flying operations.

Night fighter aircraft have radar installed. You can use night fighters solely on day opeations, you can use day fighters solely on night operations.

Until now I thought Alfred was the reincarnation of Admiral King - highly intelligent and capable, with an encyclopedic knowledge, but intolerant of stupidity, inefficiency and laziness, ruthless and humorless.
Well, delete all after ruthless. [;)]
