Genosse -> Historical question in main campaign - Operation Stosser (11/20/2021 4:03:25 AM)

Hello, congratulations on another typically excellent Decisive Campaigns release, I have really looked forward to this setting.
Question, in looking over the main Wacht am Rhein scenario, I see there is an Operation Stosser card to conduct the German airborne drop.
In looking at wikipedia, it suggests that this drop was delayed until the morning of the 17th, which I believe would historically place it on turn 5, and not T1 as I would have thought.
If I wish to simulate the historical jump and don't use the card on turn 1, will I retain it for future turns? Or is it intended as an opening turn ploy and I should just go ahead because it will disappear otherwise?
