Fantastic game, well worth the money. I have absolutely no regrets about buying this as it will provide years of enjoyment.
Only one little thing to ask at the moment.
I'm a dummy when it comes to 'confusers' but is there a way to run the game without the full opening sequence playing out every time, epic though it is?
With every other game I have, once it starts running, I can left click on the screen to jump to the actual game start but with this game the left click does nothing and I have to wait for the full intro to finish.
Only a minor gripe of no major issue but no matter how good the opening titles are or how stirring the musical score, I don't need the full thing every time if there's a way to stop it.

Use the ESC key

On one of the recent updates there was an option to turn the option to skip the video sequences when you started.

Or you can go to the following directory:

C:\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2\Dat\Video

and change the file name of "2by3intro.wmv" and "matrixintro.wmv" to anything. I added an "_" to the beginning of each file.

And the name of War_in_the_East2 itself of course.
