Regarding PBEM experience I have a question whether has somebody won any game with Germans when the game was played by the experienced players. So far I have played 82 nd AB Scenario and playing Windhund Scenario and to defeat Allies is almost impossible. I think that it would be better to make the game more challenging (not be just Allies´ turkey shooting) to think about the adjustment of experience of any side before playing any scenario or even campaign on percentage background, e.g. German +10%, or USA +10% advantage. Same option you have when you are playing against AI. I do not whether it is working also for human player or not. Any experience with it?

I agree, the Germans could use some boost.

Let me explain - in most of the scenarios the Germans are on a very strict timetable to reach the objective cities before the allied reinforcements arrive, and then they still have to defend against the Allied counterattack.
Human players can play Road Blocks in key locations, delaying the Germans far more effectively than the AI.
Giving German forces some bonus could help them in overcoming those obstacles a little better.

Yes you hit the right that issue what I was thinking about. IA is not thinking so comprehensively as the human. Many times at the begging of every scenario it is retreating but I have not noticed it when I have played with human. Another option how to make better point collection for Germans is to over boost the victory location by extra points. Example. In the 1st turn when the VP is taken for 10 points there can be extra points as 10+5, in the 2nd turn 10+3 and in the 3th turn 10+1. Something similar as you can find in War at East 2 edition. e.g. for 5 points VP location it can be 5+3, 5+2 and 5+1.

If it turns out the Germans are having too difficult a time in PBEM play, there are several possible solutions. Perhaps a carefully upgraded German unit database making them a bit more powerful. Possibly a stronger selection of German officer cards. Basically some fine tuned changes to beef up the Germans or possibly downgrade American unit capabilities specifically for multi-player games. Also maybe some what-if scenarios could be done. I suspect these sort of fine tuning would be fairly easy to do within the editor. The end result would be scenarios specifically designed for multi-player games.

I know playing the AI, the scenarios have been fairly tough and I have wondered just how much more difficult they would have been versus a human player.

That is a very interesting suggestion.
