maverick3320 -> [WAD] Refuel/replenish issue (12/1/2021 1:27:49 PM)

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here.

I'm trying to refuel HMS Cardiff from AOR Fort Victoria. Fort Victoria has fuel, and it shows the capability to refuel ships underway.

When I select Cardiff and click on UNREP and select Fort Victoria, I get the following message: "failed - no suitable fuel or stores to transfer".

Do AORs carry different types of fuel, or is Cardiff unable to refuel underway? If so, how would I check on either of those?

Save attached.

Hi Maverick

Fort Victoria carries the wrong type of fuel.
Cardiff uses GasFuel and Victoria carries Diesel.

You need an oiler carrying the correct type of fuel. This is always a bit of a challenge if you have many units using different types of fuel, finding the right tanker to each unit.

One of Gunner98 Northern Fury scens have you supplying several TG´s in the North Atlantic and it´s quite a logistics excersize to hook up all the ships with the right replen units.

You can check the fuel type under the Unit Fuel tab in the Unit status bar.

Hope this helped.
